Joseph Jacob Senturia (December 10, 1903 - September 21, 1991), labor economist and specialist in pension and insurance plans, graduated from Washington University and received a master's degree in economics from Columbia University. He also studied at the London School of Economics. A native of St. Louis, Senturia moved to Washington, D.C., in 1934 and worked for the Civilian Conservation Corps and the Labor Department.
